A Lifetime Commitment to Family
Joe and Jane Matlock raised their family in the Eatons Crossroads community, and built the first Matlock service station in 1953. Jimmy took over his parents’ business in 1982, and Matlock Tire Service now has 60 employees in stores located in Athens, Farragut and Maryville in addition to the original store in Lenoir City.
A 1977 graduate of Lenoir City High School, Jimmy continued his studies at Middle Tennessee State University. He married Dean Liles Matlock in 1984, and they have three children. The Matlock family worships at Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, which Jimmy’s grandmother Hazel helped establish in 1950.
